Dundee company gets in step with learning network

Instep plaque presentation

A Dundee company that is committed to helping businesses in Tayside and beyond to develop the skills of their employees has become part of Scotland’s national learning centre network – for a second time.

Instep Commercial offers training courses in a range of subjects, from forklift truck driving to first aid.

The company’s training base in Wester Gourdie Estate has been welcomed as part of the learndirect scotland national network of 500 learning centres.

Instep’s head office in Panmure Street, Dundee, is already part of the network.

learndirect scotland manager Kathleen Travers presented a plaque to Instep’s commercial manager Douglas Pond to mark the company’s achievement in once again meeting the high quality standards required to achieve learndirect scotland branded status.

The company offers training in its own fully equipped facilities or in its clients’ premises. Courses include advanced driver training, large goods vehicles (LGV) driving and health and safety.
